Annual Katina Pinkama by Star Ayurveda

At Star Ayurveda, our commitment extends beyond healthcare. We believe in nurturing the spiritual and cultural heritage that enriches our community. This year, we proudly organized the Annual Katina Pinkama, a sacred event that brings together faith, tradition, and the spirit of giving.

The Katina Pinkama is one of the most significant Buddhist ceremonies, marking the end of the rainy season retreat (Vassa) observed by monks. It symbolizes the offering of new robes to the Sangha, reflecting the deep connection between the community and the monastic order. This ancient tradition, rich in history and spiritual significance, is a time for reflection, gratitude, and renewal of faith.

Our event this year was more than just a religious observance—it was a celebration of unity, compassion, and shared purpose. We were honored to welcome participants from all walks of life who joined us in this meaningful ceremony. Together, we chanted, offered alms, and renewed our commitment to uphold the values of compassion and mindfulness in our daily lives.

Through the Katina Pinkama, Star Ayurveda reinforces its dedication to preserving our cultural heritage while fostering a spirit of community and service. We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated and helped make this event a resounding success. It is through such collective efforts that we can continue to support and uplift our community, nurturing both physical and spiritual well-being.
